What is Product Design ?

For me hacking has always a part that you don’t understand of don’t know. A 'blackbox' in the middle of the system. Teaching product design is such a system that has a lot of black boxes in my opinion. Because what is Product Design exactly and how created the school a course like that? What are the thoughts behind the course and how can I create a research that is a product on its own. Creating a conversation about the course Product Design and how I can hack that way of teaching.

Product Designers are making product design. But what is product design? How does designers think about products? How do people on the street think about product design? But also the way of teaching product design, how does that become a study and what is the goal of the teachers. With my research document I hope to create a ‘product’ out of all those information to create at the end an conversation about what is the product.
